Also keep in mind that anything covered in the FAQ applies as well. The FAQs and the rules complement each other, and you are expected to have read and understood their contents before applying to this community.
Rules are subject to addition, deletion, or other edits for clarification. The administration reserves the right to do so. If any changes are made, the community as a whole will be informed.

- This community is for sorted members of Enchanted Elite only. If you haven't been sorted, please head over to
enchanted_sorting and join the fun!
- All posts are allowed to this community except the following: posts pertaining to a single house as opposed to all four houses as a whole, resignation posts, complaints/grievances/suggestions, attempts to contact an administrator, or advertisements. The only time you can make an advertisement post is when the Headmistress or Deputy Headmistress approves it. These must be accompanied by a comment from either the HM or DHM that they did approve it.
- General community rules are to not be an ass, to act in a civil and mature manner, not to troll, use proper grammar, avoid chat-speak, and generally basic common sense.
- You will be warned by a person in power (PiP) if you are seen as out of line. You get three strikes. If you hit your third strike, you will be removed from the community and barred from re-entry. Creating a new account to weasel around this will result in the new account being removed if applicable and barred from re-entry. I have zero tolerance for insubordination.
- Please no house bashing, this should be self explanatory, and I shouldn't have to elaborate.

- This community is for the PiPs of Enchanted Elite only. All other member requests will be rejected.
- All general community rules apply here, I shouldn't have to mention this, but I will anyway.
- This community is for administration purposes only, please keep general comments to the community to
enchanted_elite or the common rooms.
- This is not the community to try to contact the administration. Let me point you to this post instead.

- All applicants get one chance to gain membership into the community (that's why we're "elite", folks).
- The only editing allowed to an application after it has been dropped from the submission queue is to fix minor grammatical or spelling errors. Any more editing than that will result in an automatic squib.
- And since there are exceptions to nearly everything...
- If you feel you need to elaborate more, or fix more than just a spelling or grammatical error, please make a comment to this post and one of the administrators will either reject your application from the queue, or will allow you to delete your current application and resubmit it. Abuse of this option can result in an automatic squib.
- ELABORATE ELABORATE ELABORATE! The more we know about you from this application, the better we can sort you.
- Members when you vote, please place your vote as a reply to the thread for your house, and include your house or a signature tag somewhere in the body of your voting comment (or your house won't get points).
- Applications are subject to rejection if they are deemed to be a blatant troll or something along those lines. We have a zero tolerance for trolling, flaming, or general asshattery in this community.
- If an application has been dropped from the queue, and the member voting on them deems it unsortable for reasons besides grammar/spelling or English not being the applicant's mother tongue, members should use a Squib vote.
- If an application has been dropped from the queue, and the member voting on them deems it unsortable due to grammar/spelling or English not being the applicant's mother tongue, members should use a Muggle vote.
- Muggles get ONE chance at resubmission.
- Creating a new account to weasel around this will result in the new account being removed if applicable and barred from re-entry.
- I refuse to do the "include this in your application to show us you read the rules" thing. If you are applying to be part of this community, I'm going to assume you've read the rules. So please do so.
- EDIT 03/20/12: Members are expected to sort 5 applications in a term. However, while we are officially NOT in a current term, we expect those that are applying to be sorted to sort everyone (it's only fair). Please make sure that you vote on ALL current unsorted applications. (They can be found via the sticky at enchanted_sorting, or by utilizing the unsorted tag.)

- These communities are house specific. If you are not sorted into that particular house, do not request membership, it will be denied.
- All general community rules apply here as well.
- If you feel you have been sorted into the wrong house, please stick with it and get to know your housemates. You might find you fit in better than you initially thought. If you continue to feel that way, we will instate a Wizengamot for house changing purposes in the future.
